Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Director of Vulnerability Management in Carrollton, TX to lead the end-to-end vulnerability program across cloud, on-premise, and container environments. You will define strategy, governance, and remediation priorities while collaborating with engineering and security teams to reduce exposure.

Responsibilities include establishing SLAs, maturing exposure management, and reporting to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in cybersecurity/IT.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity with 5+ years in vulnerability management.
• Experience leading technical teams in enterprise vuln management.
• Hands-on with Tenable/Qualys/Rapid7/Wiz and cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and roadmap for vulnerability management program.
• Define risk-based remediation SLAs by asset criticality.
• Lead cross-functional teams to reduce exposure and MTTR.
• Report KPIs/KRIs to executives and mentor analysts.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent

8+ years of cybersecurity experience, 5+ years in vulnerability management

Strong leadership and experience building enterprise vulnerability programs

Cloud and container security knowledge, threat intelligence
