Job summary

Cencora is seeking an Engineer III - Vulnerability Management to lead advanced analysis, prioritization, and remediation across enterprise environments including cloud, endpoints, and networks. You will help mature CTEM, attack surface management, and drive risk-based initiatives with stakeholders.

You will partner with security and technology teams, build dashboards, support governance, and mentor junior engineers while translating complex findings into actionable guidance for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IS, IT, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 7–10 years in IT, cybersecurity, or related disciplines.
• At least 4 years hands-on vulnerability/exposure/attack surface management.
• Active cybersecurity certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+).
• Strong understanding of vulnerability lifecycle management and remediation.
• Experience with major scanners/tools (Qualys, Tenable, InsightVM, Defender VM, Wiz, Armis).
• Experience with CAASM, EASM, CSPM, SSPM, external posture management.
• Strong analytical skills with Excel/Power BI/SQL.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; coordinate cross-functional remediation.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced vulnerability analysis across assets.
• Lead CTEM processes including scoping and prioritization.
• Operate and improve vulnerability, attack surface, and posture capabilities.
• Analyze data from multiple sources and develop risk-based priorities.
• Drive remediation with cross-functional teams.
• Lead exposure response activities and executive status reporting.
• Create dashboards and metrics for trends and progress.
• Support unified vulnerability management workflows and governance.
• Translate findings into remediation guidance for teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and analysts.
