Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Product Security Engineer for the Vulnerability Intelligence team to monitor emerging threats, deploy large-scale security systems, and build tooling to solve complex security challenges.

You will analyze CVEs, develop risk-based prioritization, and collaborate with engineering and leadership using Python, Golang, and AI-enabled workflows on Linux and GCP. This US-based role offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of applicable security experience
• Independent work environment capability
• Ability to research CVEs and threat intel
• Proficient scripting languages (Python, Golang, Ruby/Chef) and AI-enabled tooling
• Experience collaborating across engineering, product and leadership teams

Responsibilities

• Analyze emerging vulnerabilities, assess exploitability and business risk
• Develop data-driven prioritization aligned with business risk tolerance
• Implement and monitor asset-detection tools across clouds/data centers
• Develop vulnerability management KPIs and report security posture to stakeholders
• Leverage Falcon features to improve security posture and provide product feedback
• Collaborate across teams to negotiate remediation timelines and communicate risk
• Work with Linux/Unix-like systems, cloud platforms (GCP) and highly concurrent systems
