Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Product Security Engineer in the Vulnerability Intelligence team to monitor for emerging vulnerabilities and build large-scale security/monitoring systems. You will analyze CVEs, assess exploitability, and help prioritise remediation while collaborating with engineering, product, and leadership teams.

Proficiency in Python/Go and experience with Linux, GCP, and Kubernetes are valued.

Qualifications

5-7+ years of experience in a security role implementing and supporting security systems.
Ability to research CVEs, assess exploit availability, and understand real-world vulnerability impact beyond published severity scores.
Strong scripting/development capabilities in one or more common languages and experience using AI to improve decision-making.

Responsibilities

Analyze emerging vulnerabilities, assess exploitability and risk, and recommend remediation strategies.
Develop data-driven prioritization frameworks aligned with business risk tolerance.
Implement and monitor tools for detection and asset visibility across clouds and data centers.
Develop and maintain vulnerability management KPIs and communicate security posture to stakeholders.
Provide feedback to product teams using the latest Falcon features.
