Salary Range: $54,000 – $65,000 / year (dependent on experience, education, and skill set)
Seeking a dedicated VTC Field Support Specialist (Level 1) to deliver hands‑on technical support, field maintenance, and endpoint operations for enterprise communication environments in Columbia, MD.
In this role, you will install, configure, operate, and maintain Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems, integrated audio/visual subsystems, and end‑user hardware at customer and field sites. You will provide frontline diagnostics and troubleshooting for both hardware and software, resolve connectivity and device issues, support remote and on‑site users, and ensure seamless daily operational readiness.
Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with a current Polygraph.
Education & Experience:
VTC Expertise: Demonstrated technical skill in installing, configuring, repairing, and troubleshooting VTC systems and peripherals.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, system schematics, and architectural drawings.
Systems Familiarity: Basic familiarity with Active Directory user accounts, group policies, and enterprise security practices.
Communication & Independence: Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and communicate effectively with cross‑functional technical teams.
