Job summary

Gannon University in Erie, PA seeks an Undergraduate VR Research Assistant to support research projects on virtual reality gaming, sport consumer behavior, and online consumer behavior.

You will assist with participant recruitment, experimental sessions, and data collection, gaining hands-on experience coordinating sessions and maintaining project records under the supervision of the PI, Dr. Jinhee Yoo.

Qualifications

• Must be a Gannon University undergraduate student enrolled in Fall 2026.
• Minimum GPA 3.5 (undergrad, and graduate if applicable).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage schedules, and interact professionally with participants.

Responsibilities

• Assist with research activities, including preparing materials and equipment, recruiting participants, and conducting experimental sessions.
• Schedule and coordinate research sessions with participants.
• Maintain accurate research records and monitor project progress.
• Communicate regularly with the PI regarding research activities and progress.

Position Summary

Dr. Jinhee Yoo is seeking an Undergraduate Research Assistant to support research projects in virtual reality gaming, sport consumer behavior, and online consumer behavior. This position offers hands-on experience in participant recruitment, experimental research, and research session coordination.

Physical Demands

• - Must be able to use VR headsets and should have no history of seizures or epilepsy.
