Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in VQI Registry abstraction or similar registry.
• Ability to independently review clinical documentation and apply registry specifications.
• Strong understanding of healthcare quality reporting and data abstraction.
• Comfort working with multiple registry platforms and vendor tools.

Responsibilities

• Review patient medical records and abstract data for the VQI Registry.
• Apply registry specifications, definitions, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and guidelines accurately.
• Interpret clinical documentation related to vascular procedures, diagnoses, outcomes, and quality measures.
• Enter data into registry platforms, EHRs, or vendor tools with high accuracy.
• Maintain thorough documentation and meet productivity and deadlines.
• Participate in QA activities including feedback, validation, and IRR reviews.
• Communicate with leads, team members, and clients when clarification is needed.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and data security requirements.
