Vekend is seeking a data analytics professional to collaborate with marketing, product, data science, analytics, and business stakeholders to design and deliver core capabilities for an enterprise Leasing data platform. You will own analytics in Amplitude, work with Snowflake, and integrate Shopify data to drive insights across digital commerce.

You will translate business questions into measurable KPIs, build dashboards, and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years in data analytics or marketing analytics.
  • Experience with Amplitude and Snowflake preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business questions into measurable KPIs and analytical requirements.
  • Own analytics within Amplitude: funnels, cohorts, segmentation, retention.
  • Query, join, validate, and analyze data in Snowflake using SQL.
  • Analyze data from Shopify and other ecommerce platforms (orders, customers, products).
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports showing CAC, conversion, AOV, revenue, retention.
  • Connect Amplitude data with Snowflake datasets for broader insights.
  • Identify trends and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Support A/B testing and experimentation design and analysis.

This role combines hands-on data engineering with architecture ownership, ensuring the accessibility of enterprise data to modern Agentic AI and LLM-powered applications through APIs and AI-ready data structures.

Who You’ll Work With

You will work closely with our Marketing team to turn customer, product, campaign, and e-commerce data into actionable insights. This role sits at the intersection of data, marketing, digital commerce, and customer behavior, helping the organization better understand acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention, merchandising performance, and overall marketing effectiveness. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Amplitude and Snowflake and has experience working with retail, fashion, apparel, or direct-to-consumer brands, particularly those selling through Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.

What You’ll Do

Partner closely with Marketing, E-commerce, Growth, Product, Merchandising, and Data teams to translate business questions into measurable KPIs and analytical requirements

Own and develop analysis within Amplitude, including funnels, customer journeys, cohorts, segmentation, retention, and behavioral analysis

Use Snowflake and SQL to query, combine, validate, and analyze customer, marketing, product, order, and transactional data

Analyze data originating from Shopify and other retail/e-commerce platforms, including orders, customers, products, promotions, transactions, and digital customer journeys

Build and maintain dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into key metrics such as customer acquisition and conversion, campaign and channel performance, e-commerce conversion rate, average order value and revenue, repeat purchase behavior, customer lifetime value, engagement and retention, funnel and checkout performance, customer lifecycle and segmentation, product, category, and merchandising performance, marketing ROI and attribution

Connect behavioral data from Amplitude with broader customer, commerce, and marketing datasets in Snowflake

Analyze customer journeys across web, digital marketing, e-commerce, and purchase channels

Identify trends, anomalies, customer segments, and commercial opportunities and communicate findings clearly to business stakeholders

Support A/B testing and experimentation, including test design, measurement, and results analysis

Work with Data Engineering teams to improve data quality, event tracking, data models, and analytics-ready datasets

Help define and maintain event taxonomies, customer definitions, KPIs, and measurement frameworks across the marketing and e-commerce domains

Provide ad hoc analysis to support campaign planning, customer targeting, personalization, merchandising, promotions, and strategic marketing decisions

What You’ll Bring

3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Product Analytics, E-commerce Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field

Strong hands-on experience with Amplitude, including funnels, cohorts, segmentation, retention analysis, and event-based analytics

Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake

Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large and complex datasets

Prior experience working with retail, fashion, apparel, clothing, or direct-to-consumer brands

Experience analyzing data from Shopify or comparable e-commerce platforms

Strong understanding of e-commerce and retail KPIs, including conversion rate, AOV, repeat purchase rate, customer lifetime value, retention, product performance, and promotional effectiveness

Experience analyzing digital marketing and customer journey data

Strong understanding of marketing KPIs, conversion funnels, segmentation, attribution, and customer lifecycle measurement

Experience developing dashboards and communicating analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders

Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across Marketing, E-commerce, Product, Merchandising, Engineering, and Data teams
