Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Vice President in Brooklyn, NY to deliver senior-facing wholesale credit risk analytics and executive-ready storytelling.

You will partner with Risk, Finance, and Compliance leaders to shape narratives and drive timely, accurate risk insights. You will lead complex analytics, driving automation and robust data governance while mentoring staff and aligning with strategic risk management objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years related experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading analytical workstreams.
• Strong interest in financial markets, macroeconomic trends, and current events—and how they impact portfolio performance and credit risk.
• Proven ability to translate complex analysis into executive-level content with high attention to detail.
• Experience with modern analytical approaches, including automation and AI-enabled analysis, and the ability to apply them in a well-controlled environment.
• Comfort working with large datasets and driving data quality and consistency through strong partnerships with Technology and data stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to reprioritize quickly in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills; ability to communicate effectively across Risk, Finance, Technology, and senior stakeholders.
• High degree of initiative, ownership, and sound judgment; ability to operate autonomously and drive work end-to-end.
• Strong control orientation and a track record of reliability during time-sensitive cycles.

Responsibilities

• Support senior-facing wholesale credit risk communications by developing executive-ready insights, narratives, and visuals.
• Lead preparation of the wholesale credit risk content for the quarterly risk update for the Firmwide CFO.
• Support the Chief Risk Officer and senior Risk leadership with analytics and narratives for the Board and risk committees.
• Oversee production and maintenance of data-driven metrics supporting external disclosures.
• Drive portfolio analytics and risk monitoring across various business lines.
• Support the team’s operating cadence by managing intake, timelines, and quality checks.
• Modernize the analytical toolkit with automation and AI-enabled analytics.
• Serve as a leader across the Risk Controllers organization, mentoring teammates and sharing best practices.
