Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Vice President to join the US Banks Analytics team within the A&D group. You will lead analytical efforts supporting Wealth Management and Firmwide initiatives, mentoring a junior team member and driving data-driven decisions for senior stakeholders.

You will develop frameworks, dashboards, and executive-ready narratives, partnering with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to inform strategy and growth within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or analytical field, supported by 6+ years of analytics experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with large, complex datasets.
• Proficient in SQL with familiarity in Python and/or R; experience with SAS/Dataiku or similar tools is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate data findings for senior audiences.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity and analytical rigor.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate across functions and levels of seniority.
• Highly motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; curious and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, drivers, opportunities, and actionable insights related to client behavior, balances, flows, product usage, and engagement.
• Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and cross-functional teams to shape analytical approaches and provide data-driven perspectives on key priorities.
• Translate strategic questions from senior management into clear recommendations that inform business decisions.
• Develop analytical frameworks, define metrics, and evaluate outcomes to drive strategic initiatives.
• Create executive-ready narratives and materials that synthesize analyses for senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities to automate analytics, standardize processes, and enhance capabilities.
• Maintain high data quality through rigorous validation, reconciliation, and documentation.
• Mentor a junior team member and guide priorities and deliverables.
