Job summary

Chase is seeking a Vice President, Product Manager in Connected Commerce within the Wallet and Lending Innovation group to set the vision for next-generation payments platforms and drive the roadmap for digital payments and commerce.

You will lead API design, data modeling, and data pipelines; manage backlogs and collaborate with Technology, Design, and Analytics to deliver scalable solutions, including settlement and reconciliation capabilities across complex payment ecosystems.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, focusing on technical products (APIs, databases, data processing).
  • Strong fintech/payments domain knowledge with understanding of payment flows, digital wallets, and money movement.
  • Proven ability to drive change in large, matrixed organizations; adept at navigating ambiguity and structuring complex problems.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and ability to influence cross-functional and executive teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership in building scalable platforms and customer-centric innovation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; extensive experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, engineering practices, and Agile product development lifecycle.
  • Experience managing risk and controls at scale.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or comparable field.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the roadmap for the product line; establish and communicate the vision and strategy for the product/platform.
  • Lead the conceptualization, design, and delivery of technical products, including APIs, data models, and data processing pipelines.
  • Oversee the creation of detailed product requirements and user stories translating business needs into robust technical solutions.
  • Partner with Technology, Design, and Analytics leadership to drive product development and cross-functional alignment.
  • Drive the design and implementation of Settlement and Reconciliation platforms and data pipelines to ensure accuracy in payment processing and reporting.
  • Manage product backlog creation and grooming, support agile delivery, launches, and production support.
  • Navigate within a large organization, providing clarity, structuring problems, and aligning multiple teams toward goals.
  • Build strong executive relationships across business, technology, risk, controls, legal, and compliance; foster collaboration.
  • Monitor performance, scope enhancements, and create remediation plans as needed.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, learning, and collaboration within the team and organization.
  • Ensure a robust risk and controls environment in partnership with cross-functional teams.
