Job summary

Kroll is seeking a Senior-level VP in Valuation Services to lead complex client engagements in Dallas, spanning energy and infrastructure valuations, including DCF, comps, and intangible asset analyses. You will guide staffing, client relations, and rigorous financial modeling to deliver strategic insights.

The role requires advanced degrees (MBA or related), CPA/CFA or equivalents, and a track record of leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or an MBA from an accredited college/university.
• 5-6 years of constructing and reviewing valuation & other financial models including DCF, comparable company & transaction, and intangible asset analyses.
• CFA and/or CPA professional designations a plus.
• Prior experience across Energy & Energy Transition space (upstream, midstream, power generation, renewable energy, infrastructure, utilities) is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership experience including managing and developing client relationships as well as mentoring and developing staff.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Research target industries across energy (oil & gas, utilities and the energy transition) and infrastructure (transport, communications, social).
• Manage client engagements from day-to-day interaction with the client through staffing and managing the resources and work plan to completion.
• Perform industry, market, and valuation analyses using DCF, comps, and other approaches on a wide range of entities.
• Interview clients and design financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, intangible assets, and option pricing analyses.
• Prepare complex strategic reports outlining data for engagement, market research, valuations and strategic/financial alternatives.
• Present reports regarding analysis and conclusions of findings.
