Job summary

Kroll is seeking a Vice President in Valuation Services based in Chicago, IL. You will lead complex engagements including enterprise valuations, purchase price allocations, and intangible asset analyses for diverse clients in energy, utilities and infrastructure sectors.

Success requires 5–6 years of valuation modeling experience, leadership and client-management skills, and strong communication. CFA/CPA is a plus; MS Excel, PowerPoint proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in Finance, Accounting or Economics or an MBA from an accredited college/university.
• 5–6 years of constructing and reviewing valuation & other financial models (DCF, comps, transactions, intangibles).
• CFA and/or CPA designations a plus.
• Experience across Energy & Energy Transition space is a plus.
• Proven leadership including client relationship management and staff development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Research target industries across energy and infrastructure sectors; gather competitor information.
• Manage client engagements from day-to-day interaction to staffing and work plan execution.
• Perform valuation analyses and develop financial models (DCF, market comps, transaction multiples, intangibles).
• Interview clients and design models for discounted cash flow, market multiples, intangibles, and option pricing.
• Prepare complex strategic reports and present findings to clients.
• Present reports regarding analysis and conclusions of findings
