Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York seeks a Valuation Controller within the Valuation Control Group to ensure accurate fair value assessments across a broad set of financial products.

You will partner with business leaders, risk and finance teams to drive best practices, automate valuation processes, and strengthen controls to meet regulatory standards. Qualifications

• Experience in financial product valuation, ideally including credit analysis and/or valuation of loans and fixed income products.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Proven ability to implement change and lead the build out of new control frameworks.
• Strong analytical and quantitative aptitude.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with valuation software and data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive build out of the Valuation Control framework for the Private Credit businesses.
• Execute price verification and benchmarking processes for Private Credit products.
• Partner with Trading, Quant, Risk and Finance to resolve valuation issues.
• Prepare and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Enhance the control framework by reviewing pricing processes and tools.
• Evaluate and perform credit analyses on borrowers as required.
• Work with Quant and Technology to automate independent valuation.
• Assess new market data offerings for transparency in private credit.
