Testing Site - JPMC in New York is seeking a high-impact Valuation Controller to oversee the valuation of complex alternative investments, driving accuracy and transparency across private credit and private equity portfolios.

You will support valuation oversight within the Funds, collaborate with Portfolio Management, Legal, Compliance, and external pricing vendors, and contribute to governance and risk reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in the investment management industry.
• Knowledge of fund structures and financial reporting.
• Understanding of asset classes and derivatives.
• Strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to collaborate across functions.

Responsabilités

• Support end-to-end valuation of alternative investments (private credit, private equity, illiquid assets).
• Review valuation models and key assumptions from invest teams and pricing agents.
• Ensure valuations comply with internal policies and ASC 820 / IFRS 13.
• Prepare materials for valuation committee meetings.
• Monitor valuation risks, issues, and exceptions.
• Benchmark inputs using market data, cash flows, and discount rates.
• Respond to inquiries and support audit processes.
