Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Vice President in Valuation Control to ensure accurate pricing and robust governance for financial instruments. You will verify prices, calculate adjustments, support management reporting, and partner across Finance, Risk, Product, and Technology.

You will contribute to a collaborative environment focused on accuracy, transparency, and continuous improvement, delivering well-documented controls and effective stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in valuation, product control, risk, finance or similar analytical control function.
• Experience with energy markets and related pricing dynamics.
• Experience with energy-related derivatives and/or structured products (options, swaps, forwards).
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with clear storytelling of outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and materials.

Responsibilities

• Execute independent price verification and benchmarking processes, including calculation and explanation of valuation adjustments.
• Support valuation control practices and initiatives, including management reporting and control consistency.
• Partner with Finance, Risk, Product, and Technology to investigate valuation matters and drive resolution.
• Enhance the control framework by reviewing pricing methodologies and implementing improvements.
• Identify process gaps, propose solutions, and help implement tooling to improve efficiency and governance.
• Produce clear documentation and reporting for governance, audit readiness, and regulatory expectations.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects spanning Business, Risk, and Finance priorities.
• Communicate insights and findings clearly to a range of audiences, including senior stakeholders.
