Job summary

Aalo Atomics seeks a Vice President of Utility Partnerships to lead engagement with electric utilities, municipal utilities, electric cooperatives, public power organizations, and other strategic energy partners as we deploy the next generation of advanced nuclear technology.

This executive role develops and expands relationships across the utility sector, identifies opportunities for future reactor deployments, and creates partnerships that support the growth of Aalo's microreactor fleet.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in electric utilities, power generation, or energy development.
• Experience building strategic relationships and partnerships in utilities.
• Direct work with investor-owned utilities, municipal utilities, or co-ops.
• Strong understanding of utility resource planning and long-term infra.
• Experience with nuclear energy and SMRs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a utility partnership strategy across utilities and energy organizations.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with utility leaders and boards.
• Identify opportunities for deployment of Aalo microreactors and advanced nuclear systems.
• Establish partnerships and commercial frameworks with utilities.
• Collaborate with utilities on site evaluation, retirement of fossil assets, and deployment sites.
• Support utility customers in long-term planning for advanced nuclear technologies.
• Develop value propositions aligning technology with reliability, resilience, and carbon reduction.
• Represent Aalo at utility conferences and industry events.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of utility-supported projects.
