Job summary

Energy Northwest is seeking a Vice President Nuclear Development – New Nuclear to lead strategic direction for the organization’s nuclear development portfolio and multi‑billion‑dollar facilities. You will oversee business development, planning, and execution, coordinating with public utilities and technology developers while advancing safety, cost discipline, and leadership development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related science from an accredited college.
  • Minimum 15 years progressive management/leadership experience.
  • Experience in presenting to boards and internal/external organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and management direction with the creation of vision, strategic objectives, and key business initiatives for Nuclear Development.
  • Apply and support sound leadership principles and techniques.
  • Demonstrate EN core values in day-to-day activities.
  • Manage vendors and supplemental personnel to high industry standards.
  • Identify project efficiencies and cost reduction methods to achieve goals for cost of power.
  • Advance safety and environmental protection and pursue strategic goals.
  • Develop current and future leaders through succession planning and coaching.
  • Engage with EN corporate and Columbia Generating Station leadership.
  • Support employee development through development processes and feedback.
  • Participate in industry groups (EPRI, NEI, PNUCC).
