Mastercard seeks a seasoned leader for the Vice President, U.S. Government Cybersecurity Strategy & Engagement role in Washington, DC.

You will lead Mastercard's engagement with federal, state, and local government stakeholders, shaping policy, and steering opportunities across identity, fraud prevention, and threat intelligence. The role requires established USG relationships, deep cybersecurity fluency, and the ability to influence at the highest levels of government.

• Strong written and oral communication for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for U.S. government cybersecurity engagement.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior USG officials across agencies.
• Identify opportunities where Mastercard capabilities align with government priorities and procurement pathways.
• Collaborate with product and sales teams to translate government engagement into commercial opportunities.
• Represent Mastercard at senior-level government forums and industry events.
