VP, Treasury Management Manager

JOB PURPOSE:

  • The VP, Treasury Management Manager is responsible for the overall operational integrity of the Treasury Management team and providing exceptional client service. This role is critical to enhancing the overall client experience. The incumbent will oversee the effective use and application of the Account Analysis application and digital channels for both consumer and commercial clients. The manager will work closely with relationship managers, technology teams, and operations to ensure an efficient and seamless client experience while optimizing treasury management products and services

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and develop a team of Treasury Management Specialists to serve clients with complex treasury needs
  • Establish, monitor, manage, and communicate service level agreements (SLAs) for client phone, email, digital, and internal support
  • Develop procedures for department efficiency, process improvements, client experience enhancements, and overall risk mitigation
  • Perform quality control by prescreening submitted enrollment forms, processing monthly files (Cash Vault, Superior Press, D1B), handling manual billing requests, and conducting call-back verifications
  • Execute transactions and approvals for temporary and permanent limit approvals for ACH & Wires within assigned authority limits, focusing on operational excellence and due diligence
  • Oversee operational integrity for the Treasury Management area, including internal transactions, periodic certifications, and service-related matters
  • Handle escalations from Treasury Management specialists and assist team members with complex client research or service needs, providing prompt follow-up
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction during Treasury Management onboarding
  • Coordinate the timely completion of assigned special projects for service updates across platforms
  • Apply sound judgment to evaluate and manage decisions and situations to limit risk while proactively managing client expectations
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of client data within all systems
  • Uphold operational excellence across all Treasury Management functions
  • Onboard, cross-train, and coach new and current team members effectively
  • Provide leadership to the team, including performance evaluations, balanced feedback, and team meetings for ongoing development

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience at a financial institution in a treasury management operations role
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience
  • Proficient in Windows-based applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe)
  • Experience with FIS Platforms preferred
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and Treasury Management products and services
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strategic planning and operational management experience
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Deep understanding of financial services operations and related organizations
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong commitment to client service and collaboration
  • Must comply with all applicable banking regulations, policies, and procedures

WORK CONDITIONS:

  • Occasional standing, walking, sitting, and light lifting (1–15 pounds)
  • Office-based work environment with moderate noise level

TRAINING:

  • Completion of all required mandatory and regulatory training is expected

COMPLIANCE:

  • Must adhere to all policies and procedures related to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC)
