Job summary

Orion Worldwide in New York seeks a Vice President of Product to lead our Transformation team's proprietary software application, shaping strategy and lifecycle management to drive growth.

You will own the product vision, oversee platform logic and data flow, and partner with offshore development teams to ensure on-time, quality delivery in a fast-paced media technology environment.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive product management experience, including leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to own a software product from conception to delivery and iteration.
  • Experience working with offshore/third-party development partners and agile delivery.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business language for stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership of cross-functional product teams.
  • Background in media, advertising, or marketing technology preferred.
  • Strong analytical mindset and highly organized execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sprint reviews, backlog refinement sessions, and release planning.

  • Drive adoption of the platform with change management and training.
  • Collaborate with internal business teams to define strategic direction and scalability.
  • Present ongoing progress updates and health of the application to leadership.
  • Lead and develop a Product team: PM, Program Manager, Sr. Analyst, Data Analyst, Sr. Business Analyst.

The Role

We are seeking a VP, Product to join our Transformation team. This is a highly visible, strategic role, reporting directly to the Chief Transformation Officer. This role will lead the development, and lifecycle management of our proprietary software application. This role is pivotal to our strategy of building a differentiated, technology ecosystem that delivers operational efficiencies while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the application, ensuring alignment with business transformation goals
  • Own platform logic and the end-to-end data flow for the application
  • Serve as the primary business and product liaison to our technology development partner. This includes managing the relationship to ensure quality delivery, on‑time execution, and alignment to technical specifications.
  • Lead sprint reviews, backlog refinement sessions, and release planning in coordination with our development partner
  • Establish and maintain documentation standards, acceptance criteria and QA processes to maintain product integrity
  • Define and maintain governance frameworks for product development, including change management, risk mitigation, and dependency tracking
  • Drive adoption of the platform, partnering with business teams on change management and training
  • Collaborate with internal business teams to define and drive the strategic direction, business objective and future scalability for the application
  • Present to leadership and key stakeholder ongoing progress updates and health of the application
  • Lead and develop a Product team consisting of a Product Manager, Program Manager, Sr. Product Analyst, Data Analyst, and Sr. Business Analyst.
Required Experience
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in product management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role (Director or VP)
  • Demonstrated experience owning a software product from conception through deliver and ongoing iteration
  • Experience managing offshore and/or third party development partners with strong command of agile delivery methodologies
  • Exceptional ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language for business stakeholders
  • Proven track record managing and developing high‑performing, cross‑functional product teams
  • Background in media, advertising, marketing technology strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with media systems or the media landscape is a plus
  • Strong analytical mindset
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with data platforms or internal enterprise systems is a plus
  • Certified Scrum Master or equivalent Agile certification a plus
