Job summary

Santander is seeking a VP, Transaction Manager for SCIB Lending Products in the United States. The role spans end-to-end lending execution from pre-approval to closing, with emphasis on governance, controls and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in CIB lending execution, experience in leveraged/structured finance, and proficiency with booking, funding and post-close handoffs. Base pay reflects a broad US range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of leveraged/structured finance and lending execution.
• Experience with KYC/AML, booking, funding and operational handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Leveraged Finance, Structured Finance, syndicated, bilateral and amendment transactions from post-approval through close.
• Validate approvals, KYC/AML evidence, onboarding, collateral and booking setup.
• Coordinate amendments, waivers, repricings, extensions and other lifecycle events.
• Contribute to procedures, checklists, status reporting and training materials.
• Maintain accurate execution records and support audits/regulatory requests.
