Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Vice President to join the Third-Party Wealth Portfolio Management (TPW PM) team in New York. You will manage multi-asset class portfolios, structure trades, and lead systematic portfolio processes.

The role emphasizes quantitative analysis, risk analytics, and collaboration with engineering to enhance trading algorithms and model platforms. Relevant leadership and global teamwork experience are essential.

Qualifications

6–10 years of investment management experience.
Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in mathematics, computer science, financial engineering, or other STEM background.
Programming experience focusing on portfolio implementation (e.g., Python, MATLAB, R).
Advanced problem-solving and leadership in global, cross‑regional teams.

Responsibilities

Manage multi-asset class portfolios in line with client guidelines and policies.
Structure and implement trades across asset classes and instruments.
Lead creation of a systematic portfolio management process.
Design and maintain quantitative investment and risk analytics using Python.
Review portfolio designs for client suitability and feasibility.
Oversee complex portfolio events and onboarding of new mandates.
Coordinate with internal teams and model platforms for restructurings.
Contribute to thought leadership and strategic initiatives.
