Job summary

Goldman Sachs Wealth Management seeks a Private Wealth Management professional to support PWAs in portfolio construction, asset allocation, and client service for high-net-worth clients in New York. You will collaborate closely with PWAs to deliver tailored investment strategies and comprehensive wealth plans.

The role emphasizes leadership, strong financial modeling, and the ability to manage multiple client relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA, JD, or MBA encouraged.
• 2–5 years in investment management or related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and desks.
• Solid financial modeling and presentation abilities.
• SIE, Series 3, 7, and 63 must be obtained within three months.
• CFA Charter and/or CFP sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Act as Chief Investment Officer for PWM team, overseeing asset classes.
• Develop client relationships and serve as primary contact for accounts.
• Perform portfolio analyses, including strategic and tactical allocation and risk/return.
• Assist in day-to-day management of client accounts and executions.
• Coordinate with PWM Operations and Compliance as a key liaison.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve quality and efficiency within PWM.
• Support client accounts and pursue new client relationships over time.
