Job summary

Archer, in collaboration with BNY, seeks a Vice President to lead the Third Party Application Engineering – Eagle Performance team in Boston. You will partner with business and technology teams to define requirements, translate them into technical specs, and oversee performance calculation workflows.

This senior role requires Eagle PACE experience, strong SQL and Python, and a background in financial data, reporting, and data integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Typically 6–10 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise with Eagle PACE Performance or related Eagle platforms.
• Experience in performance measurement, reporting, or investment operations.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and reporting; Python a plus.
• Experience with data integration, APIs, data warehousing and ETL/ELT.
• Experience with reconciliations, workflow controls and Agile environments.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technology teams to gather requirements and translate into functional specs.
• Analyze performance workflows, data lineage, business rules, and controls.
• Work with data domains supporting performance processing and reporting.
• Configure, maintain, and document Eagle PACE performance calculation setup, parameters, system settings, and related controls.
• Support performance measurement workflows: calculation, validation, reconciliation, reporting.
• Collaborate with data teams on data integration and downstream reporting solutions.
• Validate calculation outputs, reconciliations, data quality checks, and reporting results.
• Ensure consistent business definitions across Eagle and reporting platforms.
• Lead testing, implementation, and change management for new/workflows and reporting capabilities.
