Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Public Relations Vice President, Technology within Global Technology to lead communications for priority initiatives such as AI, cyber resilience, open-source innovation, talent, regulation, and public policy.

You will ensure messaging aligns with business priorities. In this role, you will advise senior technology executives, drive integrated campaigns across earned and owned channels, manage media engagement, and partner across functions to shape reputation

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in technology communications or related fields.
• Proven ability to develop communications strategies for technology topics (AI, cybersecurity, cloud).
• Strong media relations with track record of securing impactful coverage.
• Deep understanding of technology policy, regulation, and innovation.
• Experience advising senior executives on messaging, reputation, and visibility.
• Excellent writing, storytelling, presentation, and judgment.
• Ability to lead in a matrixed organization and mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communications strategies that strengthen JPMorganChase’s technology reputation and support business priorities.
• Identify opportunities to build thought leadership campaigns and elevate the firm’s technology leadership with media, policymakers, industry influencers, investors, employees, and other stakeholders.
• Translate complex technical concepts and initiatives into clear, compelling narratives for varied audiences.
• Advise senior technology executives on messaging, executive visibility, stakeholder engagement, reputation, and emerging issues.
• Lead integrated campaigns across earned, owned, social, executive, speaking, and event channels.
• Direct proactive and reactive media engagement, including crisis and issues management related to technology, cyber, regulation, and innovation.
• Partner across Global Technology, lines of business, Public Policy, Legal, Marketing, and Communications to align strategy and execution.
• Set priorities and performance expectations for technology communications professionals, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Use media, stakeholder, and industry insights to measure performance and refine strategy.
