Job summary
SMBC Group is seeking a highly experienced Vice President, Technology Program Manager to lead strategic database, ERP, and enterprise application initiatives. You will oversee Agile delivery, governance, and stakeholder management across the full SDLC.
The role requires partnership with business, technology, operations, risk, and third-party vendors to deliver measurable business outcomes while ensuring regulatory compliance. Hybrid work is available within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC.
Qualifications
- 7–10+ years in technology program or project management.
- Experience delivering ERP, finance apps, data platforms, or regulatory reporting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, budgets, and vendor relationships.
- Experience with agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
- Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed org.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional technology programs across ERP, databases, and data platforms.
- Align business goals with tech roadmaps and delivery plans.
- Maintain program backlog, governance, and reporting to senior leadership.
- Manage risks, scope, budgets, and vendor relationships end-to-end.
