Job summary

DAT is seeking a seasoned leader to own the DAT iQ product and engineering organization, building managers and engineers, defining the roadmap, and setting the standards for delivery.

You will partner with data science to turn forecasting and rate models into reliable production products, while engaging brokers and shippers to inform portfolio decisions. This role reports to the Chief Technology Officer and supports a hybrid, Seattle-area work model.

Qualifications

• Experience leading both product and engineering organizations.
• Proven delivery discipline with measurable production quality.
• Strong depth in product management: discovery, prioritization, success metrics.
• Deep knowledge of truckload freight markets and pricing dynamics.
• Ability assess and discuss data models, forecasting, latency, coverage.
• Extensive direct customer engagement over years to inform decisions.
• Solid commercial judgment on pricing, packaging, and portfolio economics.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and align competing plans across segments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the DAT iQ product and engineering organization; develop managers and senior ICs; set operating standards.
• Strengthen product management practice; govern discovery, prioritization, and measurable adoption.
• Own delivery, quality, and production readiness; ensure accuracy and latency meet customer needs.
• Define analytics strategy; extend data advantages and set a realizable roadmap.
• Turn models from research to production; ensure reliability at scale.
• Serve as analytics partner to segment leadership; align portfolio with broker/shipper priorities.
• Be customer-facing; engage brokers/shippers and represent DAT iQ at events.
• Shape how analytics is packaged and priced in collaboration with commercial teams.
