Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Newark, DE, seeks a Tax Manager in Securities Services to lead a dynamic team responsible for US tax withholding and information reporting for the Global Custody business.

You will develop and mentor a high-performing group while acting as a senior technical expert on FATCA, CRS, and year-end reporting, aligning processes with regulatory requirements and driving data quality through automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of tax experience with emphasis on US information reporting, withholding, FATCA and CRS.
• Strong knowledge of IRS Chapters 3, 4 and 61 and year-end reporting requirements.
• Experience leveraging automation to streamline processes and reduce manual touchpoints.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on FATCA, CRS, Chapters 3 and 61 withholding and reporting for Global Custody.
• Use automation and analytics to maintain data quality and perform timely reconciliations of year-end outputs.
• Demonstrate end-to-end knowledge of the tax reporting lifecycle from data sourcing to filing deliverables.
• Partner with the business to ensure accurate and on-time reporting.
• Optimize team capacity through proactive planning and prioritization, escalating risks when needed.
• Advise on documentation, withholding determinations, and reporting obligations.
