Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Tax Manager in Securities Services to lead a dynamic team responsible for US tax withholding and information reporting for Global Custody.

You will act as a senior technical expert on FATCA, CRS, and IRS Chapters 3, 4, and 61, partnering with the business to ensure accurate, audit-ready end-to-end reporting and the deployment of automation solutions to improve data quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of tax experience, with a strong focus on US information reporting, withholding, FATCA, and CRS.
• Strong technical knowledge of IRS requirements under Chapters 3, 4, and 61, with a focus on year‑end reporting.
• Experience leveraging intelligent automation to streamline processes and reduce manual touchpoints.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key subject matter expert on FATCA, CRS, Chapter 3, and Chapter 61 withholding and reporting obligations for Global Custody.
• Leverage automation to maintain data hygiene and perform timely, accurate year-end reconciliations of tax withholding and reporting outputs.
• Demonstrate end-to-end knowledge of the tax reporting lifecycle, including data sourcing, validation, controls, issue management, and filing deliverables (e.g., 1042‑S/1042, 1099 series, FATCA/CRS).
• Partner with the business to ensure reporting processes are executed accurately and on time.
• Optimize team capacity through proactive planning and escalation of risks to ensure on-time delivery.
