Job summary

Blue Owl Capital Inc. seeks a Vice President, Tax Real Assets to lead US and international tax compliance for partnerships, REITs and corporate entities within the Real Assets platform.

You will collaborate with accounting, operations, legal, sales and product teams to shape tax strategy and reporting. The role requires strong, policy-driven analysis, experience with deal structuring, and the ability to drive process improvements and investor communications in a fast-moving asset management

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience with a strong track record in owning projects with increased responsibility.
• Big 4 and CPA preferred; REIT experience preferred.
• Experience with US and international tax return compliance for partnerships, REITs, and corporate entities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee US and international tax return compliance with outsourced tax service providers for various products (partnerships, REITs, and corporate entities).
• Drive internal and external process improvements, data gathering and analytics.
• Review partnership tax allocations and product waterfall allocations for GP carry, required tax distributions and tracking partnership/partner tax basis and capital accounts.
• Assist with investment deal structuring, including preparing tax analytics and entity formation.
• Respond to tax authority requests and other ad hoc items.
