Job summary

Viking Electric, part of the Sonepar group, seeks a Vice President of Supply Chain to steer procurement, inventory, pricing, and supplier relations across our Midwest footprint. You’ll provide strategic vision, lead a high-performing team, and partner with Operations and Sales to drive growth, improve service levels, and optimize capital at a senior leadership level.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of management experience.
• Experience leading organizational transformation.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements.
• Experience defining and executing strategy at executive level.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute strategies for inventory investment, procurement, replenishment, and productivity.
• Partner with Operations and Sales to optimize inventory across the network.
• Improve forecasting and demand planning with KPIs for inventory health and working capital.
• Direct enterprise purchasing and supplier relationships with key vendors.
• Negotiate supplier agreements to improve service, availability, and profitability.
• Develop and oversee enterprise pricing strategies and margin optimization.
• Lead Category Management to maximize sales growth and market share.
• Analyze market trends to align category strategies with business objectives.
• Build a high-performing supply chain organization with accountability and continuous improvement.
• Serve on Viking Electric Leadership Team and contribute to enterprise strategy.
• Maintain customer connectivity and champion change to improve performance and engagement.
