Job summary

Vida Group International seeks a Vice President, Supply Chain-Procurement Leader to manage all supply chain and purchasing functions for a fast-growing data center and technology products company in Detroit. You will lead production planning, procurement strategy, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration to meet service and cost goals.

The role requires 10–15 years in supply chain with strong leadership, SIOP process experience, and a track record of building analytics and systems

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, economics, etc.
10–15 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, supply and/or demand for a manufacturing company.
7–9 years’ professional supervisory/leadership experience.
Deep SIOP leadership and planning skills.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, organize, direct, manage and evaluate the personnel, operations and budget of an organization’s supply chain or a supply chain services company.
Lead and manage production planning, customer service, purchasing, inventory control, forecasting, warehousing, transportation and other areas are required.
Develop analytics, systems and data management capabilities, including metrics and reports.
Direct the hiring, training, supervision, mentoring, and performance evaluations of supply chain staff.
Direct, coordinate, assign, monitor and review the work of individuals engaged in supply chain related duties.
Understand customers’ needs, service those needs, and maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer’s key personnel involved in or directly relevant to supply chain activities.
