Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Vice President, Structural Engineering to lead our Dallas-based Property & Buildings team. This role will provide high-level technical guidance, mentor engineers, and oversee complex building projects from concept through construction, ensuring safety and code compliance.

The ideal candidate will hold a PE license, have 12+ years of experience in structural/civil design, and demonstrate strong leadership, client collaboration, and advanced modeling capabilities (ETABS, RAM, BIM).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficient with structural engineering principles and design software (ETABS, RAM, BIM).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of engineers and professionals.
• Oversee design, analysis, and execution of major building and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and QA/QC across multiple sites.
