Blue Owl is seeking aSenior Valuation Lead based in New Jersey to oversee day-to-day valuation processes, build financial models, and support a range of platforms including Credit, Real Assets, GP Strategic Capital, and Insurance Solutions.

You will lead valuation reviews, develop models, and coordinate Committee materials while ensuring adherence to ASC 820 and industry best practices; strong collaboration with senior management and external auditors is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business.
• 8+ years of related work experience in valuations, consulting, or other analytical roles.
• Experience utilizing valuation techniques: DCF, comps, precedents with ASC 820.
• Strong analytical/data-evaluation abilities; clear recommendations.
• Effective project management with internal controls awareness.
• Excellent oral and written communication; stakeholder collaboration.
• Self-motivated, fast-paced; minimal supervision.
• CFA or CPA designation preferred; Power BI proficiency preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day valuation process including reviews, performance analyses, and management presentations.
• Develop financial models to evaluate, support, and reconcile valuations across Credit, Real Assets, GP Strategic Capital, and Insurance Solutions; include stress-testing/back-testing.
• Coordinate materials for Valuation Committee; identify trends and performance drivers.
• Provide SME on valuation-related projects, regulatory reviews, and market practices.
• Drive process improvements; ensure ASC 820 compliance and best practices.
• Maintain relationships with key decision-makers and external auditors/valuation firms.
