Job summary

Alltrna, a Cambridge, MA-based biotech company, seeks a VP, Director Program Management & Business Operations to lead research-to-clinic program teams, with emphasis on AP003 and IND enabling activities. You will guide cross-functional teams through strategy, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation, reporting to the President & CFO.

The role requires 15+ years in pharma/biotech, 10+ years in program management, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in life science or chemistry.
• 15+ years relevant experience in pharma or biotech drug discovery and development.
• 10+ years of Program Management experience, preferably in early-stage drug discovery and development.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams; strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead program management for the company’s lead program AP003 and future programs with a culture of scientific rigor and accountability.
• Define program strategy, objectives, deliverables, timelines and budgets.
• Identify bottlenecks, risks, and mitigation strategies with input from team members.
• Coordinate with finance and functional teams to develop operational plans with realistic timelines and resources.
• Communicate program updates to leadership; act as a liaison with alliance management as needed.
• Oversee operations tasks including strategic planning, executive presentations, and leadership meetings.
• Support CEO/LT with partnerships, diligence, and competitive landscape mapping.
