Job summary

Halozyme, based in San Diego, CA, seeks a Vice President of Business Development to drive the ENHANZE licensing program and our HVAI/SVAI platforms. You will identify opportunities, lead negotiations, and coordinate cross-functional teams to advance strategic partnerships.

You will build market insights, develop compelling value propositions, and lead complex deal negotiations with external counterparts while reporting to the Chief Business Officer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, quantitative, or life sciences field; with 12+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech or healthcare consulting
• Proven success in identifying opportunities and negotiating licensing agreements

Responsibilities

• Lead ENHANZE/HVAI/SVAI business development strategies
• Develop and execute engagement plans with key stakeholders
• Perform financial and market analyses to support strategy
• Negotiate agreements and coordinate internal alignment
• Present partnering materials to potential partners
• Travel up to 25% as needed
