Portage Point Partners in Chicago is seeking a Vice President, Event Management to design and execute high-impact firm events that strengthen culture, deepen client relationships and elevate the Portage Point brand. This role will lead end-to-end planning for internal and client events, coordinating with senior leaders and external partners to ensure flawless execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Willing to relocate to major markets (Chicago, Dallas, LA, NY).
• 6+ years of experience in investment banking, professional services or private equity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive annual events calendar aligned with BD, marketing and employee engagement.
• Design and deliver client events to strengthen relationships and elevate the Portage Point brand.
• Lead end-to-end planning for internal events (Annual Team Meeting, Offsite, Holiday Party).
• Manage all event logistics: venue sourcing, vendor contracts, budgeting and on-site execution.
• Ensure events reflect Portage Point's brand voice and visual standards.
• Track budgets, forecast accurately and analyze ROI after events.
• Collaborate with team members for day-of coordination and SOPs.
• Stay updated on industry trends in event strategy and hospitality.
