Job summary

Reputation Partners in Chicago seeks a Vice President to guide crisis and labor communications for high-profile clients. You will lead strategic counsel, mentor staff, manage client relationships, and contribute to new business.

The role requires deep experience in crisis/issues and labor matters, strong leadership, and the ability to direct account teams, budgets, and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications or a related field.
• 8-10+ years of public relations or communications agency experience; prior agency experience required.
• Proficiency with AI tools and ability to coordinate with outside counsel during crisis or litigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent, strategic counsel on crisis/issues and labor matters for client accounts.
• Lead messaging and media training sessions; guide development of communication plans and materials.
• Oversee staff performance, training, and development; mentor team members.
• Develop and nurture client relationships and seek opportunities to expand engagements.
• Lead new business efforts, particularly where crisis or labor exposure exists.
• Interface with senior clients and coordinate with outside legal counsel as needed.
• Set budgets and ensure timely, quality work for clients.
