Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of sales and product experience.
• Thorough product knowledge, knowledge of markets, sales, suppliers/mills, purchasing and inventory management.
• BA/BA, MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for assigned product line, including profitability and growth of the product, sales, and margin.
• Develop marketing and sales strategy for the product, including new customer targets; understand market threats and opportunities and develop strategies to navigate them.
• Determine strategic pricing levels by maintaining knowledge of the customer base, competitor strategies and market conditions.
• Manage product purchasing, inventory and turns.
• Negotiate deals with mills and other suppliers; ensure product availability and inventory management.
• Provide education, training, direction and guidance to Product Managers and others to meet product standards and customer needs while maintaining aggressive margin levels.
