Thyssenkrupp Materials NA in Richburg, SC is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to own the life cycle of our steel service product line. You will lead strategy, pricing, purchasing, and inventory plans to maximize margin and growth across the steel services portfolio.

Collaborate with marketing, sales, and suppliers to set targets, develop go-to-market plans, and deliver value to customers while maintaining aggressive margins and strong supplier relations.

Formación

• 10+ years of sales and product experience.
• Thorough product knowledge, knowledge of markets, sales, suppliers/mills, purchasing and inventory management.
• BA/BA, MBA preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Overall responsibility for assigned product line, including profitability and growth of the product, sales, and margin.
• Develop marketing and sales strategy for product, including new customer targets. Understand potential market threats and opportunities and develop strategies to successfully navigate them.
• Determine strategic pricing levels by maintaining thorough knowledge of the current customer base, competitor strategies and market conditions.
• Manage product purchasing, inventory and turns.
• Negotiate deals with mills and other suppliers. Ensure product availability and appropriate inventory management.
• Provide education, training, direction and guidance to Product Managers and others in the organization to ensure all product standards and customer needs are met while maintaining aggressive margin levels.
