Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in stakeholder management, government relations, financial services policy and/or small business policy.
• Thought leadership and subject matter expertise on issues impacting the firm's reputation and business operations.
• Exceptional negotiation, written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, considering multiple points of view.
• Integrity and strong work ethic with high attention to detail and deadlines.
• Creative, flexible, collaborative, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Office tools: PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, and others as needed.
• Domestic travel, approximately once monthly or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a portfolio of influential third-party stakeholders including national policy organizations, think tanks and chambers of commerce.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to develop and design strategies aligned with the firm's priorities.
• Partner with Government Relations, Research & Policy and Policy Communications to develop strategies that inform, educate, and drive narrative change.
• Represent the firm at external events and convenings to foster relationships and advance objectives.
• Activate thought leadership through stakeholder-hosted events and forums.
• Design, organize, and host forums/events to promote dialogue between senior executives and partners.
• Manage an annual grant portfolio aligned with identified strategic focus areas and stakeholder strategy.
• Conduct analysis to inform decisions on strategy and investments.
