Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Vice President, Software Engineer in New York, NY to design and develop large-scale distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services for onboarding trading and post-trading workflows across asset classes such as Equity and Options. You will design Order State Management components and participate in scrums and deliverables.

Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days per week, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Educational Technology, Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or a related field of study.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
• Develop software services to onboard trading and post-trading workflows for various asset classes including Equity and Options on distributed system architecture.
• Design and Implement Order State Management related components for Trading platforms.
• Conduct scrums and handle deliverables.
