Job summary

JPMorganChase in New York is seeking a Strategy and Planning Vice President for the SMB Payments team to lead product portfolio strategy and performance reporting for payments products serving our Small Business and Commercial client segments.

You will bring together data, insights, and cross-functional partnerships to shape priorities and drive results, collaborating with product, analytics, and research teams to influence decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7 + years of experience in strategy, product, or a related field.
• Ability to think strategically and connect insights to the broader business picture while diving into details to drive successful execution.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to present fact-based recommendations clearly, logically, and concisely.
• Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously under rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the product portfolio strategy, partnering with product managers to establish objectives and key results
• Lead strategic projects by structuring complex business problems and developing solutions in collaboration with product, analytics, and research teams
• Synthesize data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive analysis, and company goals to assess product performance and prioritize future initiatives
• Manage executive communications and updates to senior leaders and stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of key team outputs and follow-ups
• Monitor and synthesize industry trends and competitive dynamics across the payments landscape to inform strategy
