The Difference You Make:

The Sr. Associate, Credit Risk is responsible for risk analysis and independent oversight of credit quality of assigned portfolios within the US Leveraged Finance Risk team. Responsibilities include participating in due diligence calls, shaping credit memos alongside the 1st Line of Defense, providing challenge on risk ratings and financial analysis, and making recommendations to senior management.

This role involves reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating the company's credit risk management program to reduce operating losses and protect assets. The incumbent will also identify opportunities for efficiency, effectiveness, and risk reduction.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Setting internal and regulatory risk ratings on assigned portfolios.
• Partnering with all lines of defense to meet expectations.
• Participating in client due diligence discussions and forming opinions on transactions.
• Providing challenge to 1LOD on transactions and risk ratings.
• Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Collaborating with coverage teams, Front Office, and monitoring portfolio performance.

What You Bring:

To succeed, you should have:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years in Risk Management, Credit Risk, or Internal Audit, with at least 5 years in Leveraged Finance Risk.
• Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, credit policies, and banking products.
• Experience interacting with regulators and auditors.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated work history or equivalent through experience, training, or education.

Additional Information:
