JPMorganChase is seeking a Vice President in Asset Management's Client Service - Institutional Contract Specialist. You will independently handle complex contracting matters, draft and negotiate language, synthesize client feedback, and provide decision-ready recommendations to senior stakeholders.

You will balance client needs with commercial risk and drive improvements across the contract lifecycle. You will guide junior team members, manage a challenging pipeline, and lead process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years of relevant experience in contracts, legal/contract support, client onboarding, or institutional client service operations.
• Demonstrated ability to independently interpret and negotiate complex contract terms and drive matters to execution with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical writing and executive-level communication skills.
• Excellent judgment and risk awareness, with ability to navigate ambiguity and escalations.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Independently manage a portfolio of complex institutional contracting matters—from intake through execution.
• Draft, review, and oversee agreement packages using approved templates.
• Lead negotiations with institutional clients and counsel on terms and exceptions.
• Analyze client redlines and articulate positions with rationale based on precedent and objectives.
• Advise stakeholders with concise recommendations and next steps for timely decisions.
• Keep audit-ready records and manage workflow systems, deadlines, and reporting.
• Lead process improvements across templates, playbooks, and workflows to enhance efficiency.
