Job summary

Conner Strong & Buckelew is seeking a Vice President, Senior Claim Consultant to lead client advocacy and claims strategy for complex accounts. You will drive multi-line claim programs, improve carrier/TPA accountability, and translate claim activity into actionable financial insights.

The role requires at least 10 years of claims/risk management experience, a bachelor’s degree (JD preferred), and readiness to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 10 years of insurance industry experience in claims and/or risk management positions.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel and visit client sites.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Independent and self-motivated with strong analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted member of each client’s claim management team from initial reporting through resolution.
• Develop and maintain a tailored Claims Service Plan aligned with client priorities.
• Negotiate client-specific instructions with carriers, TPAs, and vendors.
• Analyze claims and portfolio trends to identify financial impact and coverage issues.
• Oversee multi-line claims and provide sophisticated consulting for professional and financial services clients.
• Lead claim projects and mentor junior consultants, supporting Renewals and new business.
