Associate, Capital Formation & Investor Relations
A privately held, vertically integrated real estate investment and asset management platform is seeking to add an Associate, Capital Formation & Investor Relations to their team. The firm manages a diversified portfolio across real estate- and credit-focused investment strategies and maintains a large and active investor base across multiple channels, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional relationships. They are seeking a driven, analytically strong, and relationship‑oriented individual to support capital formation efforts and deepen engagement with a substantial investor base. Responsibilities
- Actively engage with a large existing base of HNWIs and family offices to educate them on offerings and encourage reinvestment.
- Support fundraising initiatives across multiple channels within the broader capital markets team.
- Conduct outreach, schedule meetings, follow up with interested investors, and maintain consistent communication to grow commitments.
- Build relationships with new family offices, RIAs, and qualified investors.
- Attend investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, and networking events to expand reach.
- Prepare pitch decks, fund materials, DDQs, PPMs, and other investor‑facing documents.
- Manage ongoing investor reporting needs, including quarterly updates, distribution notices, capital call communications, and ad‑hoc performance requests.
- Coordinate with internal teams-investments, asset management, accounting, and legal-to gather data for investor materials.
- Maintain the firm's CRM, track engagement metrics, and organize investor information.
- Provide analytical support for investor decks, fundraising campaigns, and market positioning efforts.
- Monitor fundraising trends, competitor activity, and broader industry developments in alternatives and private real estate.
- Contribute to refining the firm's investment narrative.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in private equity, real estate, capital raising, investor relations, investment banking, or related financial services.
- Experience working with HNWIs, family offices, or private capital sources preferred.
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 required (or ability to obtain promptly).
- Strong understanding of real estate, private equity, or alternative investment strategies.
- Highly motivated, proactive communicator who loves networking and relationship‑building.
- Comfortable making outbound calls, handling investor conversations, and driving momentum.
- Strong analytical skills; proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple deliverables.
- Must be local to or willing to relocate to Austin or Atlanta for an in‑office role.
