Job summary

Hamilton Lane is seeking a Senior Director of Financial Reporting to lead the Company’s SEC reporting function within the Finance organization. You will own the end-to-end process for quarterly and annual reporting, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will partner with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate disclosures, oversee consolidated statements and MD&A, and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements and public company financial reporting practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end quarterly and annual reporting calendar.
• Lead preparation and filing of SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K).
• Oversee consolidated statements, footnotes, MD&A, and schedules.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams on disclosures.
• Direct preparation of management analyses and supporting deliverables.
• Evaluate new accounting and disclosure requirements and impact.
• Improve reporting policies and SOX/compliance controls.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors on SEC matters.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team.
