Job summary

Alliance College-Ready Public Schools is seeking a Vice President of Operations to provide executive leadership across Home Office functions, shaping strategy and ensuring operational excellence for 25 Alliance schools in Los Angeles. The role leads Network Operations, Facilities, and Business Operations with a focus on coaching, performance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of relevant, progressive professional work experience in a public school district, public administration, charter school/education management organization, university, or in a related field, including at least three (3) years of school leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Own the operational strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of Alliance's school support systems.
• Guide the functional leads of the Operations Division to develop operational plans with clear, measurable goals.
• Lead and develop school-facing operational support teams to strengthen coaching and school performance.
• Drive initiatives to improve cross-functional coordination and communication with other Home Office departments.
• Hold teams accountable for achieving network operational performance goals with clear expectations.
• Develop organizational capacity by designing scalable systems and leadership pipelines.
• Oversee the Network Operations Lead Team, Facilities, and Business Operations budgets.
